Bangkok here we come!

And here we are, at our new house in Bangkok!! It feels so relaxed to have a garden and this morning when the boys woke up, they immediately wanted to be outside. We saw a few squirrels and Ruben found a mango tree!

The house is a traditional old wooden house in mint and light green shades. There used to be many of these houses but once the people surrendered to concrete the whole city skyline has changed. So we are lucky to live in a little piece of paradise in the middle of the city! We are surrounded by a lush garden while only 5 minutes from our doorstep you can see the sky scrapers in the sky…

We went on a boat ride to show the kids the different temples along the Chao Phraya river and eat some sticky rice and chicken at the market. On our way home we took a Tuk Tuk which the boys loved. They are very similar to the ones we have in Sri Lanka. Just a little bigger so that came in handy with so much fruit and vegetables that we bought on our way!

In the afternoon, the movers arrived and the kids were thrilled to find that all their toys were there. How exciting to start a new chapter in our life. Bangkok here we come!
