We are staying in The Mud Hut for a few days. A beautiful little hut in the mid of the rice paddies and rural Sri Lanka. Libby’s wedding is in a few days time and this morning while Miguel was doing a bit of work, the boys were playing with the dogs and cricket in the garden. It was so lovely to see Sam play hide and seek with Sally the dog. Everywhere she goes, Sam was following in her footsteps….
It feels really familiar to be back in Sri Lanka. I think it will always be our home even now we live in Bangkok for a few years. Ruby grew up here and he still blends so naturally in with the environment..
He hasn’t forgotten about the cricket and his favourite Thambili king coconut and this morning he asked for another favourite…Mango! 🙂
