My sweetheart with a big smile on his face despite his broken leg! On his very first ski adventure and bang!!!! Yesterday, after Tamara and I had left, Miguel took a long time to come back to the hotel with Ruben. When he was finally there, Ruby was in his arms and in tears. At first we thought he just had a rough fall but when we made it to the doctor, the X -ray showed a small fracture. Enough for a plaster and Ruben not being able to continue his classes. What a bummer!
So today, we all went on this beautiful train ride through Tyrol instead of skiing. In solidarity with Ruby. We had so much fun and I was so proud of him not complaining for a minute! In the afternoon, we went for a toboggan snow competition in the forest just outside of the village. It was hard work as we needed to climb up and down but it was such a laugh when coming down and of course the girls won!! 🙂
