Ever since Ruben had The Romans for history at school, he has been talking about The Colosseum. He even asked a playmobil replica for his birthday so when we told him that we would visit Rome this summer and The Colosseum he couldn’t wait. As a surprise my mother had booked us a beautiful apartment with a view of The Colosseum from our window. Imagine what he said when he woke up this morning! ” Mama, I can see The Colosseum from here’!!!!
A few minutes later the boys had discovered that there was a delicious ice cream shop just downstairs from our house and three pizzeria’s in the street! But we decided that we would first go and explore the city and visit The Colosseum of course. So off we went!
