Miguel just arrived from Sri Lanka. Time for a little break together with Guido. We rented a beautiful house in the old city centre in Utrecht. Our favourite part of town!
Ruby and Sam stayed with my parents and so we had a few days as a threesome! A very different vibe and I could tell that Guido enjoyed the extra attention he got from us what he is so used to share with his brothers.
The weather was very typical Dutch with some rain and sunshine. I loved to dress him up in a jumper and rain jacket. Something he is not used to as he doesn’t know anything better than tropical sunshine 🙂
Miguel and I love this city. We like to stroll around the old part of town, through the little streets, have lunch at one of the little cafe’s and just read and read magazines with a cup of tea or coffee. At these moments is when we often reflect on our life in Sri Lanka, when creativity blossoms and we come up with new ideas or adventures for the future.
This time with Guido it wasn’t very different. He is such an easy going child and so when we read, he coloured! Showing us with pride what he made. So much remind me of when I was 4 years old… X
