And here I am, uploading a few pictures of today of our morning walk and swim at The Conrad, Maldives! Miguel had to go on a familarisation trip and all of a sudden I was invited to come over for the weekend with him! I managed to have the kids go for a “sleep over” weekend at a friend’s house and Guido was staying with Rasika in Colombo. Still it feels unreal when I stare at the turquoise water in front of me… the water so clear and the beaches so white! It is truly paradise here!!
This afternoon Miguel is busy and tonight we are having a dinner but tomorrow we will be able to enjoy some time together. Miguel saw a catamaran earlier this morning and he would love to go out there into the ocean and sail away!
It really feels like we are on a little honeymoon together and that so unexpected! Last year, being at my father’s side in the hospital…. Now he has left this beautiful world we are living in……. but I do miss him soooo much…
