After a long haul flight from Colombo with a stop over in Singapore, we finally made it to Sydney! Miguel was waiting for us at the airport and hired a car to take us to our place in Bondi Beach which we rented through AirBnB. It was a cute little townhouse and only 10 minutes walk from Bondi Beach!!!
We first had a nap as we were so tired. Miguel was in Australia already for a week so he was adjusted and did some work. When we woke up from our siesta, the boys were keen to see Bondi Beach of course! The owner had lend the boys a few boogie boards and full excitement we made the little walk through the beautiful neighbourhood and park from which we could see Bondi Beach in the distance…
Once we made it to the beach, the boys went off. The ocean a little cooler as what we are used to in Sri Lanka so Miguel and I cuddled up at the beach while we saw the boys having fun on their boards.
It was 15 years ago when Miguel and I were sitting at the same spot on Bondi Beach. Then, no kids and no plans for the future. Just him and me. Now a family of 5, I felt so proud and accomplished. Our life is a true adventure!
