The weather has been incredible the last few days and we have spent a long weekend at my friend’s house in Haarlem. She has two boys, Vince and Sven and are exactly the same ages as Sam and Ruben so that works out so well. They know each other for a long time so it is very nice how Sam and Ruben are able to switch to Dutch and having a blast with her two, playing football, walking around the neighbourhood and going to the beach.
Imre and I are close friends and know each other since we were students. Both studying law in Amsterdam and although I left Amsterdam when I was 26 years old, we have always stayed in touch. I hope that our boys will nurture their friendship too. It is so special!! x
