Football!

This year, my mum had invited the boys for a week football camp. It was good weather and Guido super excited. This would be for him the first time!!! Ruben and Sam have done this camp earlier but they couldn’t wait to start their week either.  I had tried to team them up with as much Dutch kids as possible to boost their Dutch. But after their first day, they proudly came to tell me that they had made friends from Colombia and France…! 😦

Guido loved it and seemed still so small when he went off early morning with his brothers. I dropped them in Utrecht, only 20 minutes drive from my mother’s house and pick them up in the afternoon. On the last day, their football coach Thaabit from Sri Lanka came to visit us which was a surprise for the boys. They kept on asking me for days who it could be and when we picked him up at the train station they were so happy to see him! See picture above!

We invited him for pancakes and of course the boys didn’t stop talking about their football camp and new friendships they made. Tomorrow off to Madrid! X
