So much fun with this threesome, discovering the Douro Valley and its wineries! We arrived yesterday in the afternoon and after we managed to find the key of our beautiful house (see background), we immediately went for a walk around the village. Grapes everywhere and stunning views of the wine terraces. It almost felt as if I was back in Bali. So much it reminded me of the rice fields there.
The next day we made a gorgeous boat ride on the river Douro after a long lunch with of course a few glasses of wine… By the way, a glass is almost half a bottle here so I went a little tipsy on board but that made the boat ride feel so much more smoothly 😉 Till late in the evening we hanged out in the village where the kids played football with a few local kids in the park.
