Uncle Guille came to Sri Lanka as a surprise for the boys!!! We had told them someone was coming but they had no idea until he arrived!! It was midterm break for the kids so we spent a few days at the beach in Galle. In the morning we had a lazy breakfast followed by surf classes for Guille and Guido. Sam and Ruby went off on their own.
Then we would head back for a rice&curry at home and in the afternoon when the waves were still good, the boys would go back while I did my work. Our last day we made a walk through the Galle Fort, watched the sunset at the ramparts and had a blast of a dinner!!
Now in Colombo for a few days and then Guille will head with Miguel to Kandy for some tracking through the mountains. We will need to go to Galle as school starts tomorrow but we will back in Colombo next weekend for “farewell” drinks and dinner at the Galle Face Hotel! Our favourite!!
