On Friday, Miguel came down from Colombo to spend the weekend with us. It was beautiful weather and we enjoyed the garden outside, the pool, played music and made a delicious paella on Sunday. The little video above I made of Miguel while I was in the pool, listening to him playing the guitar. Real paradise with the birds on the background. It can’t get better than this!
On Saturday afternoon we all went to The Shack for a hour of family surf 🙂 We all had our surf boards and while Miguel and the boys went far out, Guido and shared a board together. Guido managed to catch each wave and I watched him in disbelief as I struggled to even put my first foot forward. I tried a dozen times and finally I managed to stand up a little before another wave would hit me from behind and again landed in the sea! But I am determined not to give up so next week I am going to give it another try.
First I need to recover from a few aches and pains 😉
