When we woke up this morning the sky was bright blue and hardly any clouds to see. After we said “goodbye” to Libby and Tom, we went straight to the beach which is a 5 minute ride on our bikes. The boys love it. They can be so independent here as on Gili Air there are no cars allowed. The island is simply too small. You walk, bike or use one of the horse carts which is good fun!
We spent most of our morning in and out of the water. The kids had a blast on the swing and in the afternoon we hang out at our little hideaway, Captain Coconuts. The food is delicious! It has a nice shady garden with day beds and a small pool. Miguel played the guitar, boys found a football and were playing football with a few locals on the road. Such a relaxed atmosphere and finally time to be able to read a book and spending time together which is so precious to me!
