Ruben is off! All alone on his way to the airport in Denpasar. For the very first time he is going alone on the plane. A 15 hour long flight from Bali to Frankfurt where he will meet the rest of his friends and team in Doha where they all have to transit. How exciting but I have to confess, I am very nervous! Miguel seems to be all ok and is already asleep but I can’t sleep. Waiting for that message that he is in Doha and with the rest of the group..
He made it! They all arrived in Frankfurt! I got a video from Thaabit ( their coach) by Wapp. Another train journey before they will be in the hotel. Ruben seems fine on the pics. He was so excited all this time and I am so happy he can be part of this trip, this experience. A one week training camp in Dortmund! Doing what the profs doing. How cool is that!
After lunch today, I received a video of the boys making their way to the stadium and a few pics of them changing in the dressing room. It looks like they are all still asleep but probably they are all a bit nervous. First day of training!!

Thaabit sent a few more pics and video of the training today! Ruben is in good spirit and looks ok. So happy all is going well. X
Every day, I am following Ruben on Instagram through Tafacoaching. So wonderful the see the live stories! Today, I received another video of Ruben in action during training. They still have beautiful weather. How lucky! I haven’t spoken to him yet. At times a little message. Hope he manages to study a bit. He has his exams the day after he gets in from Germany. But I have faith in him. Go Ruben! x mama
Today, already the last day of their trip. They are visiting the stadium and then tomorrow they will see the profi’s in action! They are going to see the team play against??? No idea. Have to figure than one out yet! 😉 But some a pic of today’s visit below…ON THE BENCH!

And yesterday night this pic came in. Just before the match started! I think they won! Tomorrow he is coming home. I am going to pick him up from the airport with Sam and Guido and then straight to Galle. Tomorrow school but I just can’t wait to hold him in my arms! 🙂
