Today we made a beautiful bike ride on ” The Hei”. It has become a tradition to take them on a ride from HR to Hilversum for a picknick and an ice cream on our way home. Boys being boys, they couldn’t stop “funnying” around. It is such a great playfield for them!
Unfortunately, it hasn’t been raining for weeks so ” The Hei” looks so dry and yellow. As a kid I remember the walks with my parents. Everything purple and with fresh green leaves..
It also has been extremely hot this year with temperatures around the 30 degrees for days! The weather prediction is going to be tropical hot for the next week too. Colombo read 26 degrees yesterday! Climate change for sure….
