“I had to put you in B&W”, I wrote this morning on my instagram account. Will it be the last time that we can enjoy you? For over 10 years my parents had this house. Every year we would come here for two weeks to spend the summer with them. I recall so many precious moments when my dad was still alive…How proud would he have been to see the boys so grown up now…
My mum is keen to sell it and with that in mind, I think I even enjoyed the house just that bit more. So aware of that it could be the last time…
The boys were very excited to come back and so we took the car from Madrid yesterday and came down south. Everything was still the same. The garden just more lush but the bedrooms and even some of the toys in the garage were all there waiting for the boys to enjoy…
For one week, we played games, swam, the boys played football, long lunches and siesta’s, beach walks and occasionally a little bit of shopping. It was heaven and with that peaceful time, I even had the time to learn to play the guitar for a bit! Now, I just need to keep it up when we are back..but I don’t want to think of that yet. Let’s enjoy the house as much as we can…!
