Landed in Rio!

I just came back from the bakery. When I turned around the corner of our street, I saw Ruben up high.. playing the guitar in the window upstairs. It felt so familiar. As if we have been here forever! The house is just us..! It couldn’t have been a better fit! Very spacious, with high ceilings and windows that look out over the cobblestone streets of this cute neighbourhood in the hills of Rio…Santa Teresa..

Boys are doing for the first time a bit of homework since we have left. Miguel is in Sao Paulo for two nights and is back tomorrow. It doesn’t feel strange he is not around. It is as if we have somehow adapted and fall back a little bit into our old routine..

But gosh, we already have seen so much! Will share some more pics and stories in my other posts. And there is so much more to come! On Saturday, we are moving to the beach for a few days. We are so keen to see Ipanema beach! It is also pretty hot so we all long for a swim in the sea and our swimmers! X
