Bariloche!

 

When looking at these pictures, it almost feels I am back in Europe. Maybe somewhere in Austria or Zwitserland but we have found this most beautiful cottage just a few kilometers outside of Bariloche in a place called Llao Llao. We have a stunning few over the lake which is only 10 meters away and surrounded by forests, mountains and a golf course. The famous Llao Llao Hotel Resort is just on the other side of the road, walking through that tiny wooden door in the garden…

Just behind the house the garden continues up a hill and the boys have found enough space to play football and cards under the pergola. It is the most idyllic place! Even the rooms inside remind you of Tirol with matching wallpaper and bed linen. At night we  put on the fire as it gets cold. We listen to music of the sixties and seventies. Play guitar. Once it is bedtime, I tuck Guido and Sam under a thick duvet. I wish them good night and pinch myself how lucky we are to experience this all with our boys!

This morning, we made a walk through the national park which is adjacent to the property. The walk took us through amazing forests with arrayan trees and we ended up at a lake. It is full of lakes here so we hope we can go kayaking one day..

I only wish the weather will stay like this… The prediction is that it will get colder and we even had a little bit of hale on our way back home! Something unusual for the time of the year as it is summer but then again the views with mountains tops covered with snow are picture perfect so I am not complaining at all as I really would like Roberto to see it as he is coming tomorrow!

We are all so excited to see him and share our stories of the trip with him. Miguel can’t wait to do some hiking with him and I am sure we won’t escape from it either!! 😉
