What is Argentina without meat??!! And asadas are so much fun! We have done plenty of asadas on this trip so far and every place and dish is different. I love the whole process of collecting the wood, marinating the meat, getting the music ready, have a glass of wine and see it all come together. Roberto loves it too and it is funny to see how father and son sometimes disagree on what to do. But at the end it always turns out delicious! 🙂
NB: There is a cool little video of the boys playing football with their friends from Buenos Aires below…
Last night, it was cold. The temperature has dropped during the last few days so we have been doing some homework with the boys. They also found a football pitch next door where they have been playing football with a few boys from Buenos Aires. The ground is stunning as it is part of the famous hotel Llao Llao. Once they came back we had the adosada almost ready. Ruben got the guitar out and he showed me a few chords. I am so keen to learn but I keep on struggling. Very proud of him how he has made so much progress and even on this trip he has played a lot with Miguel. He definitely is very talented and such a pleasure to listen to!
Tomorrow we hope to go kayaking. They predict that the weather is getting better and so we are all longing for a swim and a bit of sunshine! Let’s cross fingers! X
