This morning when we woke up late, the sun was shining! Roberto had already made breakfast something which he does almost every day. We sort of gotten into a routine and as he is also on a jet lag it works out well. 🙂 Once we all were up and running, we took the car to the other side of Bariloche and ended up at a lake with a small beach. Kayaks were for rent everywhere so that was easy!
With our pick nick lunch, beach towels and our guitar we found a nice little spot. Miguel had put up the tent which would allow for siesta’s and gave us some shade. The water was freezing but the boys were very keen and so was Roberto. Once we had the kayaks out, we all had a try and no regrets. The views from the lake were mind blowing!
Guido went with Ruben and Roberto a few times. And Miguel had Sam with him. I went with Ruben for a good spin around and I thought of how special all of these moments are. Grandfather Roberto joining us for a 10 day holiday in Argentina. Memories that will last a life time….
We almost spent the whole day at the lake and once the sun was setting we headed back home for a change and then went for a beer at Cerveceria Patagonia. A place that was recommend by the owner of the house and a true gem. It was full of locals and very busy but we managed to get a few beers and some food for the boys who were starving.
Tomorrow, we may go into town. Roberto would like to invite the boys for chocolates and there is also a museum which is worth a visit. This allows Miguel and I to do a few errands and work out our next stop. We haven’t made a decision yet where we are going from here although the goal is to head to the coast in Chile, to a place called Pichilemu..X
