Our house here in Llao Llao is surrounded by a golfcourse and early morning you can see from our bedroom window, the ladies and gentlemen playing a round of golf. It is too idilic for words because the clubhouse is just around the corner. We were told it is a beautiful place to enjoy a cup of tea and so we invited Roberto over.
The tea, scones and juices were delicious and yes, the views amazing. What sunsets! That is what has surprised me so much here. I had expected the lakes and the mountains but the sunsets are just beyond beautiful..!
Roberto plays golf himself but for us to joy him was impossible. We are beginners and that was a non starter here at Llao Llao. It is such a contradiction to other places we have stayed. Far from luxury and posh but then again our cottage is just very homely and we have been lucky to enjoy it and to live in such a stunning location.
It feels a bit of a holiday now Roberto joined us here in Bariloche. The the sense of travel has gone a little but in only two more days we are back on the road again. We have worked out our next stop..Osorno! We will be taking another bus to cross the Andes mountains to Chile and spent one night in Osorno. It is famous for its volcano so we are quite excited about the idea of climbing one! 🙂
Tomorrow we need to pack up. Roberto will leave us at the bus station and then he will head to the airport. Back to Madrid. I have enjoyed this time with him together so much and I know Miguel and the boys will look back on this later with so much joy! Thank you Roberto, for coming all the way and spoiling us! X
