Our baby boy turned 9 today!!!! Happy Birthday sweetheart!!!! I hope we are going to spend an amazing day together and make it really special. We all love you soooo much ( even Sam!! ;)) So grateful to have you in our lives and so much enjoying your look on life, discovering your passions, your questions, your softness, your determination, perfection and innocence. Stay gold my baby boy….and please don’t grow so fast!!!! 🙂
This morning, all cozied up in bed, we sang for Guido. It felt like in the old days when I camped with my parents. The bed was not so big but we all squeezed in and I thought how beautiful to have our three sons with us laying together and joking the way only guys do. I took a little video. A precious moment for later…
We continued with breakfast outside where Guido opened his presents. Of course, Miguel took Ismillah out and we all sang again Happy Birthday. This time in English. We always sing it three times. Our crazy way of communicating in all three languages ( Spanish, Dutch and English) even plays out on days like this. Little milestones..
Unfortunately, the weather was not that sunny. We even felt a few raindrops and that in the driest place on earth! We watched some darker clouds coming in and decided to make the most of the day and soon head to the Death Valley for a picknick lunch and discovering this famous national park. Let the fun begin!!!!
