Cooling down!

Goshh, it is hot here!! What we expected to be in Atacama is definitely happening here. The sun is out from early morning, the heat so intense that by midday you need to be inside.. During a little walk last night, we had discovered a little campsite near a river. The place seemed the perfect place for a swim and so we decided to go there this afternoon with the boys.

The water was freezing! It took a bit of time for the boys to get in and of course Sam was challenging Ruben into the water. Before I knew they were all in with their clothes! I enjoyed watching them and realised how beautiful it is how well they get along and despite their age difference they are having fun together. Miguel and I stayed steady and even managed to have a little siesta when the boys went for an ice cream. The village is so small here that they can walk around without any problem.

Tonight we are going to have a barbecue at home. The garden is perfect and there is another couple from Santiago staying next door. She is a singer so I hope we can all tune in! X
