Today we got the keys of our new house! So happy! Have to pinch myself so now and then to realise this piece of paradise is our family home…:) We have been moving our stuff out from our old house in Galle and I am wondering where we going to leave it all especially as another truck load of furniture is arriving from Colombo next weekend. Help!!
But today, I have a few hours on my own unpacking and making sense of the amount of stuff we have. We also need to do a few reforms which is exciting. We have been looking at creating a new kitchen block and a dining area. The owners haven’t lived here for a long time so there is also some painting work to be done. And this all needs to be worked out before we head to Europe in two weeks time!!! So it is hard work with all the rest that is going on and the kids having their exams this week plus the new Si! Si! collection needs to be delivered to the shops!
Busy days. But so happy! Sam came to pick me up after his surf. So sweet! Once we have the beds done and the basics into place we will be moving in. Can’t wait! X
