What a great weekend! The first weekend at our new home. We had Maya staying with us and it felt all so familiar. Sam and Guido both like her a lot too and from early morning onwards they were playing games, swimming in the pool, doing hide and seek and we all enjoyed a delicious lunch together.
The weather was great and although the house is still in a mess and full of boxes, we decided to ignore it all and enjoy our time together. Maya is leaving at the end of this week for her summer break to Italy and France and Miguel and I celebrated our 27 years together on Saturday.
We didn’t fancy going out but just enjoyed being at home. Miguel had organised a few bikes for us and so we made a little bike ride around the neighbourhood. Watched the boys play football at a local school and met the contractor to discuss the works on the house. We ended up watching the latest movie “Green Book” together and this morning woke up fell rested and looking forward for at least another 27 years together of many – I hope- in our new home. XX
