Back in Holland!

We are back in Holland and it feels wonderful! I was so looking forward to see our friends and family. The boys are very happy too. They love their bike and the sense of freedom it gives them. Every day they go on their bikes to the football pitch next door or we are making bike rides through the Laage Vuursche together.

I do realise that they have become real teenagers and so visits to Utrecht and Hilversum are on the list. Sam is a big fan of skateboarding so as it is his birthday very soon we went for a bit of shopping. He knows a very popular skateboarding shop in the center of Utrecht so when my mum proposed to go to the movies together, he was very quick in suggesting to make a stop at “Blue Tomato”. 🙂

So the rest of the day he strolled with his skateboard under his arm around town and was on the look out for a skate ramp. Earlier, I had made a visit with Ruben for some shopping too. He has grown so much that he was in need of new shoes and for the first time we had to go to the man section…!!!

Guido was more than anything interested in ice creams and follows his brothers steady whatever they do. He loves his bike and he already has asked me to tell Roberto to have his bike ready in Madrid where they will go next week.

For now, I am enjoying their company and that we all are speaking Dutch together. It is such a wonderful feeling and I am proud how they can so easily switch and adapt themselves. My three musketeers are very cool! X
