Time for football!

Just picked Guido up from football camp. When we were in Haarlem at Imre’s place, Guido spent a few days in Hilversum at a training site with about 12 other kids of his age. I remember how nervous he was the first day but now after 4 days he is so much more confident. Even his Dutch has improved so I am a super proud “soccer mum”…:)

They gave a small presentation of what they had learned. Showing off their football skills and tricks. Sam and Ruben also came along to watch him play and at the end of the day, he received a certificate with some feedback from his coach. Apparently, he has done really well and just need to keep on practising.

Now he can show Ruben and Sam what he has learned. Ruben often gives him tips and coaches him. Sam has become less interested in football. He loves to play but he is more into skateboarding at the moment.  Nevertheless, they love to play together and I hope that will never stop. Even when they are older!
