Reunited in Madrid after almost 6 weeks for me not seeing Miguel and two weeks my beautiful boys. So we had to celebrate which we did with a delicious paella in one of the most famous restaurants in Madrid called “Casa de Valencia”. I think we took almost 2 hours and hence Miguel was in need for a siesta while the boys amused themselves in the park 😉
After a little nap, we walked to Plaza Espana to show our boys where we used to live and told them about our cat “Leon” who had fallen three stories down bringing with him all the laundry from the neighbours. A classic story Miguel loves to tell 🙂
We then continued to Calle Pez where we watched a real “flamenco” performance. A tiny little bar where we were served sangria and some delicious olives while waiting for the dancers to come on stage. The show was amazing! The boys loved it too and I was impressed how they kept focused. During these moments I realise we don’t have little kids anymore!
