A week ago we have installed our kitchen in the courtyard of the house now the renovations have began. I am a little worried as it rains almost every day and I wonder if we will manage to finish it in time before Roberto and Maguita arrive next month…
Yesterday, we worked out the design for the pantry and I bought our new fridge which I hope will just fit. Fingers crossed! I also have been searching for some antique shelves and I was glad to find out that Janaka had kept the old kitchen doors made from recycled wood 🙂
Miguel will be back from Morocco soon. Happy that he didn’t had to endure the clouds of dust and the hammering. This morning, the kids were off to school in the rain while DJ was watching them leave from the verandah of our house. We surely experiencing climate change. I have never seen it raining so much and so long during this time of the year.
I have to stop. The workers have arrived and I need to open the kitchen doors. Will keep you posted!
