A’bay looked like a postcard. Just like on this picture above. So idyllic!
Beaches empty. Hardly anybody to see except from a few surfers and a bunch of people that got stuck on the island because of Covid. And then us…Gosh, we have enjoyed it soo much!
The boys couldn’t get enough of the surf and we felt so privileged to have the beach to ourselves. The little guesthouses had just enough people to stay open and we enjoyed the relaxed vibe, the great food and running into a couple of our friends.
Once we had to go, Sam and Ruben were determined that they wanted to stay. Thanks to our friend Lizzy who owns Gecko, the boys were taken on board and for the next week surfed non stop. Lucky them!!
