After a road trip of about 4 hours from Galicia ( North of Spain), we arrived at this beautiful old house just outside of Porto. It belongs to a very sweet Portuguese family who hosted us for a few days. It dates back to the 17th century with a beautiful garden and a little plungeContinue reading “Our “little” hideaway..”

Ribadeo…
Back in Ribadeo! We have been coming to this little fishermen village at the Atlantic Coast for many years. As a Dutch girl, I am too familiar withContinue reading “Ribadeo…”
Surf’s up in Galicia!
The sun is shining and that means you head to the beach in Galicia. I adore this place when the sun is out. The beaches are pristine without any urban development around you. Stunning cliffs, rocks and tranquil country side. The boys love to come here and surf. This year our friends from Cameroon wereContinue reading “Surf’s up in Galicia!”

Happy Mother’s day!
Stellenbosch is a little town just about 40 minute drive outside Cape Town. My mum and I love that place! I think it’s because it has something familiar. Probably because of the architecture. The houses looks so much as the ones of the little towns of Laren and Blaricum in the Netherlands where my motherContinue reading “Happy Mother’s day!”
