Home!
What a great weekend! The first weekend at our new home. We had Maya staying with us and it felt all so familiar. Sam and Guido both like her a lot too and from early morning onwards they were playing games, swimming in the pool, doing hide and seek and we all enjoyed a deliciousContinue reading “Home!”
Bye bye…
Today was our last morning at our old house. Before the boys left to school, we took a few pictures together with DJ. He has no idea where he will be going after the boys finish school. A big garden where he can run around, chase the monkeys and play with the boys football. AndContinue reading “Bye bye…”

Vesak!
A little light in difficult times. Today, we got the house ready for the Vesak Celebrations, the birth of Budha. Guido helped hanging the lanterns and it all looked so different at once. A bit of joy and lightness….

He was waiting at The ArcadeContinue reading “One Sri Lanka…”

Happy Easter I thought to myself when I woke up early this morning. Excited to get the kids going with painting the eggs and setting up the breakfast table. The sun was out again and we had decided to see the waterfall after the egg hunting. Miguel would stay home to do a bit ofContinue reading “Eastern eggs and waterfalls!”
Haldemulla Estate!
We woke up very early this morning. The air so clean and fresh. The sun was just out and Miguel had found his spot on the terrace and was playing the guitar. The boys were playing football outside and I made a walk around the estate to get myself familiar with the location. LastContinue reading “Haldemulla Estate!”
On our way to the hills!
It is Eastern Holidays and the kids are two weeks off from school so we decided to go up to the hills, Miguel’s beloved tea country, and escape the heat for a few days. Ruben preferred to be in Colombo as it is Maya birthday tomorrow. So it will only be the four ofContinue reading “On our way to the hills!”
